"Winged Victory"To commemorate their 30th anniversary Women in Distress of Broward County commissioned Wil LaBossier to design a sculpture that would embodied the values of their organization. To create this unique sculpture Wil LaBossier live cast hands of five survivors of domestic violence that are now active in the support and management of the WID organization. The sculpture is meant to symbolize a woman's flight to freedom and how
this journey is often only possible with the help and support of caring
